Being Back

I'm slowly getting used to being back in the wilderness.
We had some friends visit this weekend. It made me re-appreciate the place.

t-shirt? huh? what?

:-) I emant your top.

"You stole my ..." is what they say in Slovenia if someone's got or is wearing exactly the same thing as the speaker.

Normal people'd say: I have this lovely H&M piece at home, too.

You always have some of the most beautiful pictures. I never really considered Slovenia a place I wanted to visit until I started reading your blog. Thanks

Wow! Those pics of you are gorgeous and I am totally coveting your hair right now, as I just started locs and they are looking less than spectacular (read: hot ass mess)at the moment...Lol

Your pics really make me want to travel in Slovenia... I'm in France for the summer taking a course and have weekends off so I might just have to make it happen!

By the way, what type of camera do you have? The pic quality is incredible!

Hi Nikita,

Thanks for the hair compliment. The best advice I can give you is to use as little as possible in your hair. I discovered this fabulous and cheap shampoo called Indra when I was in Berlin (could only find in a store called Kaufland) but it doesnt have any of the nasty sulfates and stuff that dry out our hair. Also don't overtwist. I have been twisting with just water these days. Our hair locs naturally -- no gunk needed!

As for visiting Slovenia, feel free!

Oh these pictures came from my Canon Powershot SD1000 and my visitors super schmancy Canon EOS Rebel T1i.

Thanks for reading. :)
