SNOW!

Not muching of interest is going on around here but SNOW! I thought winter was over. I was dancing around in a summer dress on Sunday. I was riding my bike to the gym in shorts a few nights ago. What happened?

Ugh.

In computer related news, I've decided to let sleeping dogs lie with the old hard drive and tackle the issue in a few months or so. In happier news, I spent an unnecessarily long time trying to burn a DVD on The Captain's computer yesterday and at the end of the day was able to confirm to him that he in fact does not own a DVD burner. So, mystery solved there.

But the snow makes for such lovely pictures!

(I was gonna just lurk like a lurking thing, but not only are you a fellow black woman and traveling the world (which I miss doing SO MUCH), you also have my NAME! The "Camille" part, at least. :-) So I had to say hello. I shall go off and be weird anonymous person elsewhere now.)

@anthrophile/camille - Thanks for commenting/lurking/reading in general! Yes you make a good point about that whole cloud silver lining thing. The pictures all came out really fun.

And you're a copyeditor to boot!!! (As am I. Although, on the Internet, I am not as careful as I should be with that sort of thing.)

If you've also got a parent from Jamaica, West Indies, or something, I'm going to stop reading this blog on the grounds that this is the Twilight Zone.

(No I won't. The idea of you being in Slovenia is too cool and interesting. I never got farther than Hungary, and I was just a kid in a somewhat mediocre choir at the time -- doesn't count.)

Best of luck!

Do you mind if I ask you to write a post about your experience as a black woman in Slovenia and how you maintain your hair or find hair products in Slovenia.

@anthrophile - Alas, no Carib parents (mom from Ghana dad from NJ), so you didnt be afeared

@beauty - there is nothing to write about on the hair care matter i brought everything from america (though when stock runs out i do the baking soda no-poo) i always do the acv rinse, so i guess it is good to have a hair routine that includes common every day things you can find at the grocery store!

Those pictures are lovely. As much as I hate the snow, I love looking at it.
